Claude

Technically my longest relationship—my earliest AI coding experiments started here. I clicked with earlier versions like Sonnet 3 as an interesting sparring partner, but later iterations drifted into another realm. Talking to modern Claude (most recently with Fable) is like talking to Gandalf: clearly operating outside the scope of human affairs, tasked with helping us along, but aiming at a mission beyond human concerns. Yet Claude is flawed and doesn't know it—which is not a good combination.
