Hosting

This website is hosted by GitHub Pages (GitHub Inc., USA). When accessed, GitHub processes technically necessary connection data, in particular your IP address, in server logs. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the delivery of the website). This involves a data transfer to a third country; GitHub is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Audience Measurement (Analytics)

We measure usage without cookies and without accessing your device. We collect the requested path, the referring domain, the country (determined server-side), and a device category (determined server-side from the User-Agent) — aggregated into anonymous daily figures. All processing takes place exclusively in the main memory (RAM); nothing is written to disk. Only the final reports are saved, and these no longer contain IP addresses. Identifying individual visitors is not possible. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR in conjunction with § 25 (2) TDDDG (no consent required, as nothing is stored on or read from your device).

Local Storage (localStorage)

We set a single item: raum-theme, your chosen appearance (System/Light/Dark). It remains locally in your browser, is not transmitted to us, and does not contain any personal data. No cookies are set.

Retention Period

The data temporarily collected for audience measurement is completely discarded after immediate processing in the main memory. The resulting, fully anonymized reports are no longer subject to the GDPR and are kept indefinitely.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
